Championship and All England Champions League Final

We will have the Championship promotion playoffs live even though we have not seen many broadcasts of Championship Football this year. The first set of dates being the 10th,11th,13th and 14th of May. The final match played on the 24th.

    Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Barcelona means that they are on their way to Moscow for the May 21 final in an all-English showdown with either Chelsea or Liverpool, who play their semifinal today.

    West Bromwich Albion effectively returned to the Premier League after two seasons in the Championship (second division) when they drew 1-1 at home with Southampton at The Hawthorns on Monday.
    Only the most unlikely of mathematical upsets would prevent their promotion. West Brom, three points clear of third-placed Hull City, have a goal difference of plus-31 while Hull’s is plus-19 with one match to play.

    Chelsea have beaten Liverpool 3-2 at Stamford Bridge for a 4-3 aggregate victory. Looks like Chelsea v Manchester Utd for the all English final May 21st.

    and i was the only one cheering for west brom last year… i hope you are all happy now that derby are going back down.

    Shane you got company for WBA. We got about 10 supporters for the replay Monday.

    Love Piper’s Pub. Would like to be able to get down there to see Manchester United beat Chelsea on the 21st but may not make it in time.

    I have a friend in England who is a big Derby County supporter. I would love to have seen them stay up but when you bring a Championship team to the Big League and all they have is Championship calibur they just don’t cut it. Derby had little talent which is why they dropped. And with no money may stay down for awhile.

    I survived Mark Holland on boxing day, not sure I cope with palace in the play offs! Only kidding way to go mark!! Go palace.
